My whisper is the Pies are after Polak. He is not happy there and wants out and Pies have already spoken to his manager.

Polack can play both ends. Has ability and could pick him up cheaply. Another back man.

only if he comes really cheap.

I saw enough of him at freo to say that although he has plenty of natural talent, theres plenty of question marks (either effort or smarts) because he just doesnt produce consistently at all.

Maybe Jimmy's unexpected retirement is the reason we are interested.

richmond gave their first round pick for him and a lower first round pick. He had a pretty good year...you would think a 2nd round pick would suffice.

Wont happen but, Richmond would be very keen to hold onto him

Cant happen, pretty sure traded players must stay at the club for at least 23 months. Medhurst is the only player we can't trade this year.

Nah, you can. You just can't exchange a player in the same year you get him. ie, unlike draft picks which could be traded to one club then on traded to someone else,

Quote:
4.3.6 No Further Exchanges of Players
A Club shall not be entitled to exchange a Player received in any
exchange until the following year.

It's all just rumour. When guys run out in our jumper I will believe it. I am over my flight and more focussed now. Not a happy camp at Richmond it seems. lol
