They are still Shite Kilda.
27 wooden spoons. 1/4 of all wooden spoons belong to Shite Kilda since the league started in 1897.
We have just the two. So they serve more soup than us down at Moronabbin, who cares!
1 premiership in 112 seasons league football. We have 14 and it will take Shite Kilda 1 1/2 millenia to even get close to us.
They have a spineless, souless club of hookers, trannies and rapists. And as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow their fairweather supporters will dissappear again as soon as they drop down the ladder and they will come crawling back to Collingwood with cap in hand.
They may have won the game today, but they are still by far and away the most pathetic football club in this country.
Get stuffed Saints.

But Shane our heart bleeds a little more. Have our boys been taught the history? It seems only Nick Maxwell knew about the thuggery that ended Johnnie Greening's career. I needn't tell you Greening was my idol in 1972. As a kid I prayed when his life hung in the balance for a couple of days (people have short memories).
Geez I love Nick Maxwell! He will belong with the finest captains of our club when he retires. And with a little luck and some canny recruiting we might just win Maxy a deserved premiership or two before he's finished. Presti deserves one too. |
