I am very happy and relieved to have recieved a GF ticket and a premium one at that. If I end up sitting in the seat I've been given then I will be very happy to be there.

However, we all have different tastes when it comes to where we sit and it occurred to me that there might be someone with a seat I'd rather be in, who would rather be in mine.

So if anyone who got P12 or 13 or Q12 or 13 row a would rather be closer to the action (and the Collingwood bench), I'd happily swap my M55 row f seat for one up there in the Southern.

PM me if you are keen

I'm of a similar mind. Quite happy with my seat in M13 row E but If someone has a seat in level 1 of the Ponsford, preferably nearish the cheersquad and would rather sit elsewhere I could be amenable to a swap.

Post subject: Ticket Swap please please pleaseReply with quote

Hi guys,
At the direction of think positive and ANNODAM I'm making a thread begging for a ticket swap.

We have been allocated seats right up the top, and my dad gets really, really sick sitting up there and now, if we can't find other tickets, we wont be able to attend after spending over $900 in Collingwood Legends and AFL memberships this season.

We are absolutely devastated and can't believe what has happened.

We would prefer not to be split up so anyone who by chance has 3 tickets anywhere on the bottom level of the MCG, we would be eternally grateful.

PM me please if you can assist by any chance we would be eternally in your debt.

Thanks

I have Seat ZZZ179 in Berwick in front of my grandmother's television. If anyone has a Ponsford ticket they'd like to swap (my grandmother makes nice cookies), I'm quite happy to accommodate them. Smile

I've heard of selling your grandmother but have never witnessed it until now. Laughing

David, enjoy watching the game with your grands. I would give away my GF ticket in the blink of an eye just to sit next to mine for a mere 5 minutes. Enjoy mate.

So what price do you reckon we would need to pay to scalp a ticket now?

$2k is way too much to pay on ebay

Well I'm in the MCC this year with a friend but I want to get entry for my 10yo daughter somehow.
Sounds stupid I know, but she is my good luck charm.
Every game she has been to in the last 2yrs the Pies have won.

If I can't get entry for her, I am forfeiting my seat.

You want to get your 10 year old in the MCC with you or you just want to get her in and have her sit by herself? I don't really understand.

I'm pretty sure only full members (or the special visitors/ladies season ticket holders) can get into the MCC on GF day.

I have one only standing room ticket for the GF. M16 Southern Stand. Yes, it's not fantastic, but it is inside the MCG.

Good luck to all those club members that missed out. We upgraded to Legends from Captains so as to get access to GF tickets. When we initially joined as Captains members some 12 years ago we were guaranteed access to GF tickets as part of the package. Over time the club withdraw this guarantee. In the end we made the choice to upgrade.

Good for now but I cannot see us maintaining this level of membership after I retire. I certainly will enjoy it while I can. Once my daughter buys a house she will be in the same position.

At the same time I consider us fortunate to get access to such a great event. In most countries we would not get the opportunity.
