Not a chance! Sell off our very best trade week poster for a crappy second rounder? Hell no! Dave stays!
Well, maybe for two first round picks, one of them in the top five. Maybe. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

If there was no way of getting a Geelong deal done, or they really wanted something from us (they do seem to really be into Shaw) then I reckon they'd let the player know that. |

Good to hear, now make the trade happy sooner rather than later!
He would be an excellent addition if we recruited him as we're all anticipating and he'll be a great long-term replacement for Swanny when he does retire eventually. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Winston Rous, the player agent of Taylor Adams has said that unless Heath Shaw decided to head to accept GWS' five year deal, Adams may not end up at Collingwood until the compensation selections are announced which it's expected Collingwood would hand over either pick 10 or 11 for Adams. Either way, Adams will become a Magpie in 2014. |

I'm hoping Heater chooses GWS to get this deal done.
We may be able to wangle even pick 9 as well (if that's possible given its a compo pick) or maybe even we chuck in a Blair, Paine, HarryO or the like and grab ourselves Tom Boyd.
Possibly kidding myself there. We'd lose depth which seems to be what we've been striving for, but a monster full forward would be nice. Don't know if you don't ask.
But to be realistic, the best outcome would be not to lose the #10 or #11 and still pick up Adams as I have watched him live specifically a couple of times and reckon he has a lot to give the Pies over the next decade. Very exciting prospect for us - think Luke Ball with pace.
I'd be miffed if it was a straight swap cos I love Heater but would get over it quick enough. _________________ I'm not arguing, I'm just explaining why I'm right |

If we want quality depth to come through quickly then pick 10 and 11 should be locked in.
GWS should also throw in their 2nd or 3rd round pick which we can use on Jesse White, although I'm interested in White at all. cheers. _________________ The window is open my friend! |
