AFL Draft, Trade, Free Agency, List and General News

Collingwood and GWS have met today in Melbourne, to continue discussions on a deal that will see Adam Treloar move to Collingwood during the trade period. It's understood talks are so advanced that the deal is likely to be signed off on in the opening days of the player trade period.

It will be done early, GWS need to know their own position for the AFL freebies they are about to pick up. Won't do them any good to leave it late. That's the inside word I got from the AFL.

Hope we do what the Hawks have done last few trade Periods. Turn up on the 1st Day of Trade Period and then Announce a Done Trade on Day 1.
Hope that what Happens with the Treloar Trade

If Bucks is confident that the deal will be done then so am I and I think it's a great inclusion for the club! Treloar is a genuine A-grade midfielder in the making.
Hopefully we have a few more trades up our sleeve. I don't think it's going to be just Treloar and nobody else during this off-season player movement period.

That would seem to rule out using picks gained in trading Freeman or Seedsman in the Treloar deal then as wont know what they'll be. |

I highly doubt those Picks will be in the Treloar Trade. Could be part of a Aish Trade.

It wouldn't surprise at all if both clubs have already come to an in principle agreement.
Both teams are probably going to have a busy trade period so it's for the best.

They have had over a Month to Organise a Trade. So that could be a Very Strong Possibility and Whispers going around is that has Happened.
Agree GWS has McCarthy and Other Trades to do and We have to trade BK,Seedsman and Freeman and Possibly Oxley. We are also still a Chance at Aish
