Tomlinson has looked capable when i have seen him play but his dimensions are a nagging, in-between size. Not as tall as Jesse and certainly not Moore. Not much taller than Pendles and Crisp really.
White and Reid have 6-7 kilograms on him too.

He is a forward that was made to play back as there was a few ahead of him. He can stand up as a half forward or a half back. What I love about him is when he plays the half back role, quite a few times he was able to push forward and kick a long goal - some of which from the boundary 50 odd out.
As you noted, at 193 he is around the crisp / pendles height and this year they ran him through the middle in a few games and he did very very well. For his size he has fantastic speed and a half decent tank that can be improved.
He would be a great pick-up.

Been pushing the Tomlinson barrow for a while. Be very handy and longer term a good replacement for the Sack who isn't getting any younger. I've also thrown Pickett into the mix. Let's make GWS a 1-stop-shop!
PS: At 193 he is a more likely Gunston type than Howe. |

According to Maher on SEN Carlton have entered the race by making an offer and suggesting they will use the PSD for Treloar. Treloar would apparently be happy to play with the Blues if a deal between GWS and Pies cannot be struck.
Given Maher is a Carlton media stooge this should be taken with a grain of salt, even though I am having flashbacks to the Nick Stevens saga...

First KB with Treloar favouring Richmond and now Maher that he won't mind going to Carlton. Tomorrow it will be the OX and that he is heading off to Melbourne.
No cause for concern, GWS wont be stupid enough to let him go to PSD they need the points desperately for the academy players.
