Post subject: Saving our pick 6 for draft | |
|
Looking at the list of perceived top 10 picks the first five are mids or mids / forwards
But getting to 6
Jarrod Brander at 198cm and 89kg is a key fwd/back
We need some one of that kind to fill a key position _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

I would suggest the recruiters have a list of players and they will tick them off as each is drafted and whoever is left on that list when our pick comes up is who they will draft. You draft the best available player is what I perceive from all recruiters comments. |

Yes and they would have a list for best available and also different scenarios
that happen between pick one & our six.
My observation was the glut of mids in first half dozen and our lesser need for
them than a KPP _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

I don’t think we’ll get a KPP. The best small pressure forward will be picked up. _________________ The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after. |

That was Devon Smith who we could have had for a twenty something pick, so why give up pick six for someone similar? |

How would we have got him with pick 20 something if the bombers gave up pick 11? |

Had the same thought. My comment is without looking at the available kids, I just think Bucks is happy with his talls and wants to go small. I’m worried we don’t have the pressure fwds hence my comment. _________________ The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after. |

who is the young kid who kicked 8 on him at schoolboy level? I hear his stock is rising? Maybe he is the better option at 6 _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Because a low twenty something pick from Essendon came back to GWS in the Devon Smith trade which lowers the actual trade pick of 11 which Essendon gave up to something closer to twenty. |
