4 good posts in a row, whatever changed, it’s been quite the ride this year, I admit, I was done, and I have never been happier in my life to be wrong, not even when I’m right! Well done Bucks, and yes class all the way!

Haven't posted in this thread for yonks.
Can't blame Bux for the loss tonite.
He has done well this year with the list.
Still think we can beat the Giants.
I have a massive dislike of Buckley for years now.
Thought he coached crap for 6 years.
But this year he has been very good.
Tonight was another brave effort..including at the selection table

Bucks finals record to date FWIW: 1 win, 4 losses.

Are you trying to imply that it's Scott-like, Dyso?

It’s not Scott like. Scott’s been there 3 times as often.

Chris or Brad?! Razz

Nah, that's simply just the maths of it to date from 2012 to 2018 over three campaigns; hoping W2/L4 is the wash-up from next week!

What you've said is factually correct, Dyso. However, the 2018 team is vastly different to the 2012/2013 teams..

Apart from 2011, Chris Scott has consistently failed in the finals. Geelong have only missed the final series once (in 2015), but have little to show for their consistency during the H&A season.

Chris or Brad?! Razz ...

I never have a clue which is which. But my pet parrot just taught me a cool mnemonic: "C is for Cats".

Bucks nearly got us across the line with the Mayne move.

True, I don't know if 2018 squad is more talented than 2012, but certainly faster and more resilient.

But securing Lord Dangerfield and His Majesty Ablett were supposed to deliver the Grail?! Maybe Dollhouse will fix it all in 2019 as the next messiah in line?

Getting back to Chris Scott, would love to see his finals win/loss ratio since 2011 too; although IIRC his H&A record is currently the best in AFL?

2012 EF lost to Freo by 16 points at the MCG
2013 QF lost to Freo by 15 points at the Cattery, beat Port by 16 points in SF at the 'G and lost to Hawthorn by 5 in the PF
2014 lost QF to Hawks by 36 points and lost SF to North by 6 points
2015 - did not participate
2016 QF beat Hawthorn by 2 points at the 'G and lost the PF to Sydney by 37
2017 QF lost to Richmond by 51 at the 'G, SF beat Sydney by 59 at the 'G and lost the PF to Adelaide by 61 at AO
2018 Lost EF to Melbourne by 29 points

So, in those 12 finals games, they've won 3.

W3/L9 in finals since 2011?! I had no idea it was so diabolical!
Bahahahahahahaha!!! Laughing

Even though he sits at W6/L9 overall in finals. Surprised
