Thanks, TP. Theres a match report in the West Australian on 30 March 2018 that says he was suspected of rupturing his ACL the first game, only a few minutes into the season. No game news I can find on him after that, so I guess he didnt play again in 2018.

At least we'll have one player who can understand the fitness bloke.

Why exactly would you trade a player taken at pick 7 just 2 years ago for a future 3rd and 4th?

Off field issues some will say and yet when I read he's a Hawthorn supporter and a lovely kick the cynic in me suggests his off field issues will magically disappear now and this has been somewhat orchestrated by those involved.

Something stinks while clubs continue to enjoy the opportunity to bend over for Hawthorn.

Apologies if this has been posted before:

How many points do Collingwood have in this years draft?
Is it only based on this years picks?
Can we bank points from previous years?

The way I'm reading it, if we want Quaynor and Kelly we need a couple more picks at least. Quaynor will be bidded on earlier than pick 18 and we only have 1620 points (if points are only calculated on this years picks).

Seem to recall that Hawthorn picked up Jonathon O'Rourke from GWS. He was formally a pick 2 and they may have given up a second rounder for him.
Played a few games for hawthorn and has since been delisted.

Guess sometimes, you can make a judgment on a player after a few years in the system based on what you have seen. Looks to me that they are happy to cut their losses whereas hawthorn is happy to try turn him around.

I'm yet to see an accurate assessment of Tim Broomhead.

He will get a new 1 year deal.

Well I hope Cal Twomey's form guide is wrong.

He has Quaynor at pick 14 (1,161 points * 0.8 = 929 points)
He has Kelly at pick 24 (785 points - 197 (minimum discount) = 588 points)

We have picks 18 (985 points), 51 (259), and 56 (194) to help us nab Quaynor and Kelly.

We need 1,517 points and only have 1,438.

Looks like we are going into deficit next year and won't be able to bid on any F/S or NGA players.

So either we hope that Twomey is wrong or we say "fuggit. We can't bid next year anyway so we may as well go a mile into deficit.

Pity. I was hoping we could have a crack at R2 as well this year.

Some clarity on Broomhead and Appleby. The rest is old news.

Beams will be a Pie, it's happening with Neale, Hogan and May trades. I don't know where May is going, but five clubs are involved. What the hell.
