Reckon gws would consider that given their window...I guess hawthorn will trade one of the fab 4 for him.

Should be more like $600k on average but hard to say how that would be distributed after the club extended his existing contract by a year as part of the efforts to accommodate Beams’ return

Not sure how it’s better than pick 55 or 58 for Lippa? While it’s true we have plenty of backup ruck options right now, Lynch would I think have the most trade currency of any of them so I don’t get why people are so keen to throw him away to do a deal we could get done with picks we don’t need or via the PSD.

Having said that, if we keep him we need to find a way to get games into him e.g. centre bounces and Grundy around the ground

As many have said, realistically we cannot play Grundy, Lynch and Cox together as we, to use old footy language, would be too top heavy. One of Lynch or Cox has to depart and I prefer it to be Cox.

True. I have Cameron lined up for that role, also Moore/Begg in short bursts.

That’s my thinking. However Lynch has currency. Cox doesn’t. More than likely Lynch will be the one to go and then we need Cox as back up ruck cover for the next 12 months. Cox will have to learn to spend more time in the middle as Krueger and Cameron will have him covered down forward. On the plus side some ruckmen can go on into their thirties if they maintain their fitness and health.

Trade Lynch to cover that 43 we gave to bullies, (just in case it's needed). Still don't know what's planned for 27.

Only keep Cox as a rookie on minimum wage. If he doesn't like it, he knows where he can go.

Wright started with "
36,39,41,45 and all futures.

Has now got :
27,36,46,48,55,58,78,79 - Kept Future 1st. Has future 3rd,4th linked to other clubs.
Brought in Lipinski and Kreuger..............

So lost a future 2nd, swapped future 3rd and 4th.

Picked up 2 players and 508 pts.

Daicos looking like not being called first - 200 points short if he is although 200 off a future 1-4 pick wouldn't change their position next year. Would suggest though Lynch will bring in at least 200-500 points.

To gain Kreuger, Lipinski and Nick Daicos alone means that we have 3 brand new certain starters in our best 22 next year. By my reckoning, that makes us a considerably better team already, without factoring in the improvement from the host of youngsters we debuted in 2021.

Only time will tell, but I'm tipping we will surprise the footy world in 2022 and play finals! Go Pies. 8)

Not convinced yet that Kreuger will be a guaranteed starter yet but there is no doubt he seems to have plenty of upside..
