We then develop Max Lynch and have some serious key forward potential for the future.

Dogs would surely be favourites next year with Grundy in their team.

Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald. striking. So, I'm on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one - big hitter, the Lama - long, into a ten-thousand foot crevice, right at the base of this glacier. And do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga gunga - gunga galunga.

Very good!

Last time that happened was with McRae being 'announced' via Wikipedia. :D

Nah. Of the back of the Do Better report we're very unlikely to bring in any player tarred with making racist slurs.

possible draft order here https://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/news/1 ... ade-period

If we get Daicos as expected it is the best deal ever for a club starting at pick 36!

Looks like Brander will be off to Carlton in a swap for Petrevski-Seton.

Realistically, our incoming players will be Lipinski and Krueger via trade and/or PSD and Daicos, Dib via draft with maybe one live pick.

How it eventuates - accumulation of points, trades etc. remains to be seen, but those will be the incoming players.

I tend to agree it won’t be much more than Lipinski and Krueger and that the real hurdle to anything more, is the salary cap rather than the trade currency.
I think the Lipinski and Krueger trades are easily done with future picks ( and excluding first round of course )
Probably the most we could look forward to after that, would be pick 2 at the PSD or through free agency. Then once again, the issue becomes having the cap space to sign on a third player ( assuming that is a likely issue )
Historically, new coaches tend to give “ question mark “ players the benefit of the doubt in their first year as head coach. I would be surprised if we trade more than two out from here, so again that possible outcome wouldn’t likely wash away our well documented cap pressure either. Potentially, it might take something like Cox and another to move on ( cap wise ) before we could even consider adding a third ready made player onto the list.
Time will tell.

You can still pick up Stengle Skinner Naish O'Brien and these types for next to nothing if McRae rates any of them

When the real play is to sign him up for the next 30 years and spread his contract out over 150K a year, he can be the ruck coach for the last 20 years
