An MRI scan on Magpie Nick Davis' knee yesterday revealed no structural damage, but hyperextension of the knee caused major swelling.

Collingwood's medical staff decided last night to send Davis for arthroscopic exploratory surgery today to find the extent of the injury.

Surgery revealed no ligament damage but bruising of the bone surfaces that will keep Davis out of action for 6-8 weeks.

Its true CQ 6 to 8 weeks for Davis.We probably wont see Nick and Adkins much this year.
