Dear all,
sorry I thought I must have been on the Melbourne or Fremantle site given the amount of hand wringing going on regarding how we should treat a member of the opposition this Saturday night.
The official policy of the Collingwood football club is those in black and white are us those not are doing their best to stop our march to where we want to be. All those attempting to stop our march are therefore enemies of Collingwood. Those who do not do what is required for the advancement of Collingwood are enemies of Collingwood. Which category do you fit?
There are a number of great Collingwood people who are now in the services of the enemy. They are therefore the enemy until further notice.
Leigh Matthews will receive his life membership when he no longer is plotting the demise of our club. Paul Williams will receive life membership when he no longer is in active service against our club.
Monkey received his life membership after he finished at another club.
Even I hated Peter McKenna when he was foolish enough to wear a Carlton gurnsey. All is forgiven now he's back where he belongs.
All I know is if you barrack for Sav you are barracking for a key forward of the North Melbourne football club. The club that last year tried to humiliate Collingwood with newspaper ads asking "where have all the collingwood supporters gone?"
I was the one who organised Sav's lap of honor to wish him farewell last year. I will be happy to organise another when he and Anthony finish their careers and return to Collingwood.
But for now in the words of Anthony Rocca as spoken in Bendigo last night "if Sav gets between me or any other Collingwood player and the ball then that's bad luck."
If it's good enough for Anth it's good enough for me.

Well there you go.

My first encounter with the President! Woohoo.

Not bad for a Sydney boy (since age four). As I mentioned on the first page, if they're not in a Pie jumper, they are public enemy number 1.

No one hurts my team regardless of their past...and that's what Sav will do if he kicks a goal.

Booing is not necessarily a meaningful past time nor an effective one-but it will surely give Sav every indication as to how highly I regard his virtues while he wears the other teams colours.

I want him, and the other North cronies on no doubt that WE are the premier team of the AFL and they are merely backpackers searching skipping from one caravan park to another.

And Eddie, I was unaware that North started that campaign against us...but it's like a political contest, when the opposition attempt to drag you down, it is due to the fact that they have nothing of positive value to promote about themselves.

So when the name North Melbourne springs to mind-actually-it never does.

Enough said.
