Does anyone know what is happening with Rintoul? Does he have an injury, or is MM just not playing him yet?

I was wondering about Rintoul as well, hard to say, Richo was left out to give some younguns a go. He would be brought into the team when someone big needs to stand a Carey or a Lucas. Not sure if Shane Wakelin would be up for that job. As for RIntoul his muscle would be usefull in the middle to rough up some sissy mary's like Crawford, Cousins and Scott West. Burns I thought must have been injury as our defence needs some experienced ball winnings down there.

yeah i think there was some mention of burnsy did something like strain a hamstring or something. ah well collingwood are looking alright even without burnsy richo lica rupe tazza etc, last year we woulda been stuffed without em but on satday night i spose they proved that they can be a good team without these players which suggests we are going in the right direction.

RINTOUL: Back-related hamstring. Probably 2 weeks away.

BURNS: Has been injured, but not specified (the old 'general soreness'). Expected to play against Oranges.

RICHO: Strained a calf last week..muscle, not a baby cow. Should, but not definitely be back for the Oranges.

UPDATE: I am led to believe Rintoul will be in the side this week.
