My fave player of this era, a real team man now.

Played a wonderful 2010 season capped by an unbelievably good Grand Final game (both). In the end I think both the winners of the Norm Smith Medal this year should feel especially proud of themselves given that both were adjudged better than Dale and that's a fair achievement given the games he played (add to that the games Brendan Goddard played - especially the first Grand Final).

Really looking forward to seeing any further development in his game next season because the future of Mr. Dale Thomas looks incredibly bright.
A Collingwood supporter since the egg was inseminated.

Always was - strong tackler, dogged chaser, courageous and infectious personality. Those things haven't changed at all. He's just a more mature footballer now - he doesn't try to do too much in a single play, and he has built up his endurance base. The result is greater and more consistent output, and it all came together in the finals. I think the sky's the limit for Dale next year.

we got the priority pick and pendles and a premiership 5 years later so that was the best loss we ever had even to the scum

people like you shouldnt have the right to cheer for pendles or daisy because of your pride they would be in another teams jersey

eff pride ,ive seen collingwood win a flag it was all worth it that sat night in august 2005

**** you, arsehole. I can't remember whether or not I was one of those people on this bulletin board, but I don't barrack for Carlton to win games against us, and I resent the suggestion that anyone who would, regardless of the circumstances, is somehow less of a supporter. I also despise the priority pick system that rewards teams for "bottoming out".

By the way, in our code it's "guernsey" but I doubt you'd know how to spell it.

WHen dale thomas started at collingwood in 06 i gave him the nickmame 'the chosen one', for I believed one day he would play his socks off in a big dance and bring home the cup for the mighty magpies. The kid is clutch money showtime-always has been, always will be. Go daisy!! Premership player, I believe.

well your the one who started it idiot when you sweared at me

face it the priority pick helped us big time we now have 2 gun players that we picked in the top 5 instead of 1

i dont barrack for carlton to beat us as well i didnt care who it was i didnt think winning was the best option for our club going forward and history proved me right when a bloke wearing number 10 won the norm smith medal who we picked up with pick 5

had we won that game for pride and the jumper our next pick would have been 17,do you think pendles would have been still around by then?i doubt it

we'd still be waiting for flag if you had your way
