Re: The Bye
At the tail-end of the season - it rarely makes it past the semi-final stage nowadays.FunkyPieMaster wrote:I notice that the bye gets a run every week. When does the bye get a bye?

Should have culled both and invited a better team in to make the numbers up. Bye might fit the job description. Bye haven't beaten too many top-ranked sides, I admit, but don't let that fool you - not one team to come up against the Bye this year has walked away with the four points. Now that's not something Port or North could say.jack_spain wrote:Only Mickey Mouse comps have Byes!
The AFL should have waited for an even number of teams to enter. Or better still, should have culled a team (Port? North?) to let GC in.

Does this mean the bye is better than Carlscum.

We were not on top after Rd 1! Perfect season was dashed then!AN_Inkling wrote:*Serious Post*
You know what, we're lucky the Cats have already played the almighty bye. We'd likely be losing top spot this week if they'd not, given they're only playing the Kangas.
That would end our run on top, and possibly deny us the perfect season.
Bring on ratio to decide ladder position, I say!
