Looks like Maxwell and BJ are both in doubt of playing this week.

Interestingly, the article also mentions that Maxwell has also been battling a virus for the past few weeks, that may explain his poor performances since returning from injury.

If maxwell has any virus?well he is at my daughters school today in geelong, hope he isnt sick.

No rumours down here of any cats in doubt.

This game is a must for us,no need to give them hope, rather lose to a side thats up and coming, than to a side that could easily sneak up on us and still have 15+ premiership players that would love a nice send off as they are all hitting 30.

Smash these cats i say,

Jolly V Cats

Post by Wolf »

Anyone had any word on how Darren Jolly is travelling with that leg injury? And is he a likely starter against the Cats?

Clearances will be gold this Friday night and I would be worried about a Wood/Brown ruck combo, especially with Ottens in reasonable nick right now.

Shed any light on this anyone?

They survived for years with no 'real' No.1 ruck. We will be fine without Jolly. The boys will just need to be a bit more aware and defensive around the stoppages.

Though, I think Wood is going to carve it up!
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey, we want some Bayley!

Perhaps a few cohorts that live down in the Geelong area can 'visit' Ottins and make sure he is 'occupied' until after the game ends.

We seem to be falling like pins at the moment. Does anyone know how Goldsack is going?

Geelong dont have the leg speed to handle krakour or dick, thats if they turn it on,
Id be looking at maccaffer, goldsack,or even keefe.

Maxwell,tarrant will replace
Bj,a running player is needed.

Im tipping krakour will be highly talked about after this game,i think he will be to much for geelong.

Dick or krakour,something tells me

Beams has been a goal kicker against Geelong in the past, I think he will play.

Agree with this , we need blokes who can hurt them physically as well.

Watched the first half of the 2010 Prelim again last night. It is my favourite half of footy ever. To perform like that is such a big game is awsome.

Hope the Pies repeat that sort of performance.

But I'm thinking it's gunna be wet and the Cats slower mids will come into the game better in those conditions. Ling won't be nearly as exposed as he would in dry conditions.

Will be a grinding game and under 5 goal margin either way.

If it's wet, Dick shouldn't play. Too light vs big-bodies Cats.

Beams a definite starter. Macaffer should play, too. Gave Hunt a bath last time (even though I beleive Hunt has been dropped recently).

Tarrant, Beams, Caff in. Dick, BJ, Maxwell out.

Buckley to play for my SC team, even though I don't rate him yet.
