I have a gut feeling the boys will go BANG. They seem more focused than last year and with a little unpredictability and Dawesy playing agaisnt them for the first time this may be a real 4 qtr effort going into the break. Also, just to let the comp know that we have great depth with about 6 prmiership players still on the sidelines. God i hope i'm right.

All this talk about us not respecting Melbourne is rubbish.
All the players in Arizona are injured. All (bar Swanny) would not be playing anyway. And Swanny isn't 100%. So its the perfect time to give him a break coming up to the mid year bye. That's not being disrespectful, just smart management.Well done to the coaching staff I say.
I really think our depth should cover the outs this week.
Hope to see Fasolo play.

Funny, the closer I get to this game the more I am hoping we absolutely smash them. They can take their 'big' Queens Birthday crowd (My group won't be there.... it's not a home game!) and stuff it where the sun don't shine. We'll take the 4 points thanks very much.
Weirdly I'm not even nervous about this game. I hope at least one or two of the young blokes get a go and given that we've lost two mids you would have to think Fasolo at least is a monty to come in.
Perhaps I'm not that nervous because despite the hype it was was only two weeks ago that Melbourne were playing disgraceful football. One week don't maketh the club!
Last week showed where we're at... we've turned the half way mark, we've got the by next week, no excuses for leaving anything on the field.
We've got close to the best backline in the competition .... the twin towers up forward and to be honest I'm not even that worried without Daisy or Swanny. Perhaps the only concern is if we drop behind early, who will spark us.....
Can't decide what I would prefer... to be 8 goals up at quarter time and watch their miserable faces for 3 quarters or keep it close to midway through the third, giving them hope, and then exploding away leaving them wondering what the hell happened.
I think I hate them more than the Filth and Bummers come to think of it. C'mon Pies, do it for me!

The Collingwood team from last years Queens Birthday game was very different from the one to line up on Monday. ie, no Dawes, Ball, Didak. Dids was a late withdrawal and was replaced by Brad Dick who had played a full VFL game the previous Saturday.uuuuu..... I can't imagine why they would match up well on us?.... Can't wait to reach my seat at the G Monday!
I liked the way they played the dons - But they'll be punished if they serve that up to us - No matter what the outs!
In the team was Lockyer, Barham, Fraser and Medhurst - who as we know did not have the best of years.
Collingwood also kicked 9.22 in that game, so I'm also not sure why the media keep saying Melb match up well.
