^With Buckley back in pie Goldsack is the logical omission.

Tough but it's all about team balance.

On standard free-to-air. Almost worth watching to see if anybody actually turns up. And they played off in the 2004 GF yeah?

Let's see if ch.7 don't f*ck this up and broadcast SHITFEST 2011 on Mate as well. It's an even-money bet.

a bit surprised with McCarthy's omission, thought he was going ok. Great to see Rounds finally get a crack and Fasolo back in. I reckon Mick wants to make the point that our kids are as good as any. It also means that competition for spots remains healthy. I'm very excited

so, wots his nick ? :D

i know, how about, "the force" ? ;)
I'm going to go with 'The Circle' for now :P

Looking forward to seeing him debut. I don't get to watch much VFL, so I haven't really seen much of him at all. Hopefully we'll see him up forward with Buckley as the sub.

But Goldy is no less critical, capable or required, so it's still surprising he didn't get a few games in a row. Of course these decisions are no doubt based on intricacies we have no access to, so it's just a superficial observation.

Is this a mistake or does the Herald Sun know something we don't?

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/f ... 6085929582
COLLINGWOOD has gone for an injection of youth, selecting two debutants and a second-gamer for tomorrow's clash against Hawthorn.

Luke Rounds and Tom Young will make their AFL debuts for the Magpies, while Alex Fasolo is back in the side.

The young trio are joined by Simon Buckley and ruckman Darren Jolly, who has been given the green light to play his first senior game since April.
It has to be a mistake doesn't it, as that would mean Fasolo isn't playing, when he was actually named on Thursday, and in the 22 last night.

When it comes to the Herald Sun, always expect the worst.

Fountain of youth at Collingwood.

 Got to love this article by Michael Horan. He's obviously trying to curry favour after his anti-Collingwood barbs in the past, even if he's stating the bleeding obvious.

Alan Didak (calf), Tyson Goldsack, Cameron Wood and John McCarthy (all omitted) make way.
Come on you Baby Pies. Kill those Squawking Hawkers.

Good luck to Luke Rounds, Tom Young and Alex Fasolo.

We are going well though, I mean if we can bring in 5 players and drop only 4, WOW. (Young is an emergency at the moment, someone else would have to come out for him).

We have to win and win well. Despite the great season Sam Mitchell is having, we have too much midfield firepower. The ball will be flying into our forward line like a pinball in a machine.

Another lazy 6 to Cloke. :D

Michael Horan is a Collingwood supporter Jack. And a mighty passionate one at that. He celebrated long and hard...and long after we won it last year!

Had a tough day at work yesterday but could not wipe the smile off my face about Hine, Buttifant and walsh re-signing.
wonder if wilson or lane were smiling ?
bet they spent the day on twitter looking for the next headline

I apologise profusely to Michael Horan.

How dumb of me confusing him with the likes of Patrick Smith, Robbo, Jon Ralph and Caro?

I'll never live this down. :(
