OK. I'll try.

Obviously great to win by that margin, but to be honest I got a bit bored.

Not bad for a side that still hasn't played GC.
- "Number 42? I see you've got Darren Millane in the Heaven footy side"

- "No that's God. He just tries to play like Millane"

180% - Geez that's a beautiful number!

Glad to finally beat a side by 100pts given the way we've played in the last year. Really looking forward to the Carlton game.

He continues to keep big name players out of the game... alongside Tarrant we have a wonderful pair
Just to follow up on a conversation we were having after the last game against North, I think it took Petrie seven and two-thirds quarters of football before he took a mark inside forward 50 against Collingwood this year.

Walking on water: 22 goals to 3 in the wet. Great stuff.

Really good to see a few players who've been a bit quiet gave good ones: Sidebottom, Blair, Krakouer, Leroy.

The three young blokes all seemed decent enough.

Was Luke Ball resting this game? Only 3 tackles .

Swan, Pendlebury and Thomas were all dominant through the middle. Our defense again was well on top - though, weren't really needed after half time when North's forward entries dried up.

This is how our forward line looks without Dawes? Not bad :D.
Well done boys!

Bouquets to our coaching/fitness staff.

it is no accident that it was Rnd 16 2010 vs StKilda where Collingwood made its famous run to the flag. Rnd 16 2011 and they did it again. This was no accident today; it was science in action.

Go Pies

BTW.....Jack Spain gives Reid the Galdalf nickname (You shall not pass!)......nice one Jack! PS Jack, Daisy got 2 votes from me today and Pendles 3......they were irresistible in the first half.
After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!
Collingwood rules the world again and Mick Malthouse fulfils his destiny with the twenty ten premiership and can you hear the people sing!

Keefe was excellent today in his first outing.

I have seen a couple of criticisms of his play in the "game on" thread.

Maybe it was what you got to see on the TV, because, watching at the ground from behind the goals in the middle deck of the Ponnie, he was outstanding in the early part of the game, when North was having a crack. His size and pace (which is very good for a fellow of his size) had the North defence worried - they had to keep LK covered and that left Cloke one-on-one quite a bit, which is how we like it.

He kept the forward structure very sound, especially for a player who has not (so far as I can recall) played CHF in the 2s this year. The greasy conditions didn't suit him but, allowing for one dropped mark that he might have taken in the middle (when the game was already broken), he performed creditably. By the end, he was even giving Jolly a break from the ruck work.

It would be a great surprise to see him lose his place next week.

IMO, there is a huge upside to Keefe - he is one to watch closely in the medium term. I think his debut is more important to the Club than Fasolo's or Rounds' because players with LK's size, skills and pace don't grow on trees. He certainly looks like he could fill one of the key position holes, when and as required.

But it's ok, Swoop42, I still want to see Dawsy back.

I liked Keefe's game too. Moves very well for such a big bloke, his gait reminds me a bit of Lee Walker. Long body and arms, short legs (comparatively).

It's a big step up from the VFL, and despite all training together it was clear he needed instruction on the field as to where to run and position himself at stoppages.

Did quite well for his first game, will only get better with more game time as he gets used to the pace and gets some confidence up. Will be a very handy player.

ps, shit it was cold at the G. Felt sorry for the poor buggers down the front who weren't under cover. Kudos to the cheersquad for trying hard all day to make some racket.

+1

My very words during the game. Incredible isn't it. An absolute demolition and I'm sure that north melbourne was going in with a point to prove. Yet I was bored to tears. It seems to only be a great game against a worthwhile opponent these days (like next week!) Damn you Collingwood.
