I remember reading in the paper the morning after our last game that they lost because they didn't score enough goals in the second quarter and then Jarryd Blair got that controversial free kick in front of goal, so essentially the article wasn't about us winning, it was about them losingMugwump wrote:Greening gold wrote:the ru is on fire wrote:Anyone notice what the Blues have been saying? that we only won the last game courtesy of a 4 goal burst in the second.
Keeping a lid on it

Pies kick some Scum butt.
you certainly can, Pete.
Go Pies !!!!
I've been thinking about Grant Thomas's assertion that we may have peaked to early and have come to the conclusion that it's horse shit.
Why?
Well firstly consider some of the names that were missing from last weeks demolition of north through injury Didak, Dawes and Beams.
Secondly could the club not manipulate our form somewhat by playing a number of kids at this stage of the season?
We could have chosen to rush Johnson, Macaffer and Goldsack back last week but instead decided to stick with Rounds and Fasolo and gave Keeffe
his debut game.
This round we have chosen to omit Buckley and not one of the really inexperienced trio.
In the coming weeks we may yet decide to rest a number of key players for a week and continue getting games into the kids.
For me we are still playing with the makeup of our team and our best is yet to come.
The competition has been warned!

I spoke to a feral Carlton support that I work with today. So feral that she sent me a text when Geelong beat us in round 3 gloating, and was extremely vocal in the lead up to the GF that we would get hammered.
She has conceded this game. She's invited to a function on Saturday afternoon in Sth Yarra and said she will endure the pain of the match for the first half and then go to the function at half time rather than watch us belt them.
I asked her what would happen if they were in front at half time and after a pause she responded that she must have slipped into a parallel universe if that happened.
As much as I enjoy the fact that they understand that they have no hope this week, I want to bury the pr1cks so that they doubt sincerely whether they have a future. Players and supporters both.
At the sound of the first siren, let us unleash hell.

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Really looking forward to this one. The closer it gets, the more confident I am.
I really cant see them getting near us. The forecast now is for a dry day. How many marks is Cloke going to take against their pathetic defence? Who is going to kick their goals? Betts & Garlett? Please!!! And as for Walker, what a joke!!
I just hope we really put them to the sword. We had the opportuninty to really humiliate them last year, and we put the cue in the rack at three quarter time.
Not this year, no letting up this time. I want nothing less than a thorough pumping that will have their dirtbagging supporters slinking home at three quarter time.

1. someone has sabotaged your posting identity?
2. the opposition we are playing next week inevitably brings out uncontrollable deep rooted feelings that turn us simple Pie supporters into MR HYDES!!!
