Greetings Nicksters from Havana, Cuba!

Great to see one of my favourite players, BJ, back in the side. Buckley is a bit unlucky, but in truth, he was always keeping Johnno's spot warm for him. I'll be checking the internet for game updates and am hoping for a monstrous win. Go Pies!

Hi RudeBoy are you over there spotting talent? Agree, great to see B.J. back, should be a top game seems as the Blues could have been focusing on this game, hope you get a decent net connection for the game.

There are too many youngsters in last weeks side for my liking.

I hate losing to them too much to risk not having our most experienced players in front of 85K crowd.

BJ and Caff come to mind - who else is available to come back in or should be in?
I thought Rounds did great for essentially a first gamer on someone like Boomer.... I say keep him in and build his experience and have him as a bl00dy good back up plan in case of injuries....

I reckon playing Rounds forward might be a good option this week. Defensive forward role on Yarran might be a good gig for him.

I have a bet with a guy at work that the filth won't get within 5 goals of us - and even then I feel like that's not enough start!

This is a team built for the big occasion, built for the blockbuster. Last week, as awesome as it was, is merely an entree for tomorrow's main course. You better believe the Pies want this one in the worst way. Forget about the Footy Show crap, forget about the media trying to tear the team down at every opportunity - once the boys go inside the boundary line they will be absolutely switched on.

I respect Judd, even though I think he is the ultimate downhill skier, Murphy is having a great season and the pests Yarran and Betts can do some damage. But this Magpie machine is just so powerful and so relentless that I can't see how the filth can possibly resist them over the four quarters. They don't have the overall speed, defensive concepts or a functioning forward line to give the Magpies too many problems.

I think this one will be reasonably close early, but the pattern will be the same as it has been all year - there will be a point in the game when Collingwood will put the hammer down, blast 6 or 7 goals in a row and utterly crush the spirit of the filth and win this one going away.

Thankfully the game is being shown live in Sydney so my Saturday afternoon is locked in watching this incredible football team.
I, for one, welcome our new black and white overlords

Yeah I like the sound of that.

One of the problems for Carlton is that our defence matches up well with one of there strengths there small forwards.

Davis on Betts, Toovey on Garlett, O'Brien on Walker.

At the other end of the ground they'll have there hands full with Cloke with a side dish of Leroy, Jolly and Keeffe to go with him.

Pity THE BEAST aint playin.
