Relief, not much more.
A LAZY overall performance by MANY senior players.
Not really good enough to be honest. Happy to win, could have been anything, big win or a defeat.

I'm just happy that we got the win over the scums!
agreed with above though, an ugly game to watch. A minor concern when the scums got pass our zone and get to their f50 so easily a few times. also the boys seemed to have lost concentration in the dying seconds of the 2nd qtr that allowed the scums a couple easy ones, must address that during the week.
having said that, I'm sure we'd play a much better come if we meet the scums in sept. they wont know what hit them!

Channel Carl-Ten were harping on it and I think they're right. We really missed Chris Dawes today, as I suspect we will against any opposition better than the Kangas. Our forward line just looked off and too reliant on Trav, who did his best.
A lot of off games today. Wellingham butchered the ball, Krakouer did some good stuff in the middle but nothing in the forward line, Toovey had a shocker, Keefe and Brown contributed nothing, Pendles faded badly after that hit from Warnock and it even effected his disposal. Sidey didn't do much apart from that goal in the third. Swan got a lot of it without much influence. Even Reid looked a little off to me.
Good games by Thomas, Ball, Davis, Cloke, Tarrant and Harry O. Everyone else...not really.

A good ordinary win under duress with a number of players down. Loved seeing The Fuzz kick the sealer in the great number 35.
In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

I was in shock when the umpire paid a free kick against Judd. The Blues came to win today and through everything at us. Cracker of a game and Malthouse and the rest of the coaching staff earned their pay today. It was a dam chess game and we were a step ahead all game with our moves.
Scoreboard flattered the Blues we smashed them especially in the packs.

With the events of yesterday, any win today was going to be a good one.
No doubt the Blues and the media will harp on the fact that they ran us to 3 goals while being undermanned (conveniently ignoring our outs), but 4 points against the Scum is 4 points well earned, especially under the circumstances.
Top job fellas, we wasted it a lot, but got the ones we had to get. That's what very good teams do.
Bring on the rampaging Suns!
