Great to see the caff back really needs to play some senior footy before finals, still an awesome team were sending up good experience for keefe and fasalo on the road. Expecting at least a 7+ goal win, dont know if we can blow it out over 100 points but should be fun if we do!
Tear the roof off tha sucker!!!
Rapt to see Macaffer back.
Hopefully he'll be played across half forward and can cement his place in the side over the coming weeks.
Jolly's illness is more likely a problem with his knee or leg as he copped a whack to it last weekend.
Looking at the latest VFL report Wood is fortunate that we have no other standout replacement for Jolly.
Goldsack is the obvious replacement for Toovey.
With the Wellingham injury they would have been tempted in include one of J.Thomas or Sinclair.
Sinclair is named as an emergency though Thomas must be scratching his head of how he could be named ahead him on the back of last weekends VFL game.
Sinclair has genuine speed and attacks the ball and man at 100 miles an hour (an admirable quality) but hasn't displayed yet the ability to rack up the numbers like Thomas or the same uncanny clearance winning ability around the stoppages.
With the Buckley inclusion I expect McCarthy will get more midfield time in Wellinghams absence.

He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!
That would make sense because the side would otherwise be a mid-fielder short (unless someone comes in from the emergencies). Is it getting close to make or break time for JMac - I have been very patient but I haven't seen much I like from him recently and I thought his game against the Blooz was generally poor (one nice goal notwithstanding)?swoop42 wrote:Rapt to see Macaffer back.

Excellent changes, with Goldy always going to get a run sooner rather than later. I've always believed Goldy is a class above, it's just been a matter of injury and selection that has kept him out. But he's exactly the kind of player you can bring in to a finals team without missing a beat. Even a grand final
The Tooves injury is nothing to sweat over as the possum man is a machine and was likely due for a rest anyhow.
So we get Woody, Keefe, JMac, Caff, Goldy, Roundsy and the Fuzz games under their belt heading in to the pointy end. Despite our injuries things are still going to plan, and even better with the return of Sinclair and Thomas in the twos, and Dids and Beamsy due back.
One other thing: if the Fuzz gets a full game I reckon he'll kick a bag. Not to burden him, but the lad has a touch of the young Nathan Buckley about him. And that includes the cockiness, so I doubt the comparison will bother him too much.
Am I the only one who got rather aroused when the number 35 kicked the sealer against the Filth last week?

In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.
