Yep... a loss would be embarrasing. Carlton and Essendon both beat this club by 100+ points. So should we.

We will NOT LOSE!!! That's a definite fact.
The Pies will win by 93 pts and hopefully there will be no injuries.
I've heard from sources that Jolly's knee is not looking too crash hot. I hope I'm wrong.

The 'word' on Jolly is that his knee is fine.
He had a knee issue earlier in the year but has sorted it.
The man is a human premiership medallion (to quote Pies 08) and they are limiting the amount of time he spends on planes so he probably wont go to one of Port Adelaide or Freos game.
We have NO issue with the big man.
The only issue he will have come October will be where to put his THIRD premiership medallion.
As someone who has climbed the mountain three times, The Lad can assure Jolls it's a nice problem to have....

All I want is a nice, comfortable victory with no injuries. The margin for me is irrelevant - I figure once they get to about 60 the cue will be put in the rack and the focus will be on protecting bodies for the games ahead. This should be little more than a training run.
I, for one, welcome our new black and white overlords

First game all year I'm not going to be at.
Looking forward to a big afternoon/evening all the same though, with some good food, good drinks, good company and hopefully some great footy. Got a few friends coming over. 2 Swans supporters, a bulldogs fan and a handful of Collingwood fans. Doing a Sydney v W.Bulldogs/Gold Coast v Collingwood double header.
Let's smash em' pies!

Before the 'big knee' of 1982, The Lad was a handy triathlete- after, the only records The Lad holds is wolfing down Chocolate Royals with Old Tawny Port chasers...
Oh for the 1970's and being an elite athlete again and beating off the young ladies with a stick......... sigh
