Gee he's impressive. Looking forward to a big morning - it's 12 hrs behind here in Greenland, so 7.15 am. Love the internet.
I tipped the Saints by 10 Points Tonight
Show some faith. We will win comfortably.

Of course! When you have a young big man who is a major part of your successful structure and he is still injured four weeks out from finals, you want him in and regaining match fitness and touch as soon as possible!swoop42 wrote:All valid points but Dawes would have been included if passed fit.
You'd have Dawes in this week despite his inclusion weaking your side on the night (if you thought he was going to weaken your side on the night) simply because the four points don't especially matter, becaise we can beat the Vomit either way, and because finals fitness is vital.
But Dawes is a special case. He is a big man, but he doesn't play like a big man. Dawes is not all that strong as a power marking forward - he is big, he contests, but he doesn't hold 'em the way that a genuine marking power forward does, but Dawes' ability to chase and harrass and pressure is second to none. Dawes runs harder than any big man playing the game today save only Sookwoldt and Cloke - and the big sook isn't renowned as a tackler the way that Dawes is. So, in a sense, Dawes plays like a giant defensive half-forward flanker. And this is what makes us so hard to beat when all our best are fit.

Dawes has Taken Strong Marks Before but he does need improvment there and if he does he gets betterTannin wrote:Of course!
