Was watcthing sydney melbourne game last night and heard the long drawn out SSSSYYYYDDDNEEEY chant sounded great on tv just wondering how the cooollinngwood chant is going another thing is because sydney is a shorter word than collingwood instead of trying to chant COOOLLLLINNGWWWOOOD what about MMAAGGPPIEES.

Having the extra syllable in ours makes it a bit different ... and a bit more interesting musically ... even though it's still just your garden variety descending minor third.
If it ain't broke ... don't fix it.
Leave it as it is.
As soon as we start winning again, I'm sure the chant will ring out loud and clear.
