The cost of this game depends on Taz. If he's ok, we lose nothing we can't recover. Losing Taz ends the season as, let's face it, Maxy has sucked ass down back this year, and we don't have enough quality talls.

Next week will be interesting in whether we play 3 rucks against the Eagles.

This sort of performance has been coming for some time now. We've been playing half arsed football and flirting with our form for a while now. There were so many things to worry about after this game, but for me the biggest worry is Jolly's form.He gets smashed in the ruck every week and can't even take a mark now.I don't know what's happened to him.

Might leave the paper rolled up in it's wrapper tomorrow. We went in soft and in preservation mode, yet probably got more injuries or niggles than any other game this season. I don't know if this is a good sign but just saw Taz TV and was hobbling on crutches but was putting pressure on both feet.

You know we're playing crap when Joffa leaves 15 minutes into the last.

You've got to wonder what we were thinking playing Jolly and Wood in the same side, selecting Sinclair over Young, not resting Sidebottom and giving Macaffer a much needed run and so on and so on.

Nothing positive out of tonights performance whatsoever but certainly some worrying question marks hanging over the heads of some players.

I'm numb and Collingwood supporters have every right to feel let down by tonights pathetic display.

To lose is one thing, to get smashed by nearly 100 is another altogether.

Geelong should now be premiership favourites, having beaten Collingwood and Hawthorn twice each. The press and betting agencies got on our bandwagon too late last year, but after this game Geelong should be clear favourites.

Not saying we're done. In fact, I'm still confident we'll win it, strange things can happen in dad rubbers. But, you can't ignore the result, and the Cats must now be considered favourites for the flag.

I won't be reading too much into tonight's game, but a couple of things were clear: Wood and Jolly can not play in the same team, and Leigh Brown can not play down back. We were too slow tonight and having two talls playing out of position did not help. That said, Wood's form has been better than Jolly's, but only one of them plays.

The other thing that was clear is that we missed Maxwell and Shaw. Goldsack's defensive work in marking contests was poor all night (their mediums cut us apart), and Brown was too slow and gave us nothing offensively. Add Leon, Maxwell and Shaw to that defense, and we'll be much better served next week.

Biggest concern out of the game is injuries: Tarrant needs to be available; a very important player.
I'm on the same page as you, I personally don't read much into tonight's game if anything at all. But Jolly's form is one serious concern I have. Our most in form ruckman at the moment is next to no chance to actually be playing in the next few weeks.

Jolly's lumbering badly, his centre bounce work is about on par with the ~8/9 cm shorter Leigh Brown at the moment. And he is constantly giving away frees at boundary throw ins, he can shake his head and complain all he wants (which he will indefinitely do), but he really shouldn't be surprised. When you try to bear hug your opponent at every thrown in, you're going to be penalised.

He isn't a dangerous forward option anymore because he seemingly just isn't covering the ground anywhere near as well as he used to. And when he does inevitably manage to get his hands on it, he tends to just throw it on his boot out of panic because he knows if he holds onto it for any amount of time he is going to get wrapped up.

I think all those years of never missing a game have really caught up to him. I sincerely hope he pulls it together, but I'm not particularly confident of that happening.

I am really concerned with Jolley's form or lack there of!

He has been ordinary of late but tonight he played a stinker.

Anyone who thinks the players didn't give a stuff about tonight have rocks in their head.

With the likes of Daisy,Maj,Maxie,Heater,Bux and Rounds all watching from the sidelines one would of thought some players would of shown more desperation!

I am really devastated this has happened tonight. Unlike last year when we lost by a kick in the last round this will play on the psyche of the players when we meet them again and make no mistake to win the flag we will have to play them again!
Never disperse your focus unless absolutely necessary. Face one adversary at a time!

Decided last minute not to go tonight, best call I've made all year :)

I'm not even going to attempt to analyse or dissect the game, suffice to say, I didn't think we looked interested from the 1st bounce. MM's stares could peel paint off walls when we're 10 goals up, to see him walk around almost smiling when we're getting smashed all over the ground pretty much sums up the night for me.
