Can't wait for this match. The real stuff begins now.

I expect a big performance from all players and it's fantastic to see that this is our best side in a long time. Only Thomas is the player who would come into the side.

I think the Reid rumour is bullshit but I hope it's not true anyway.

Can't wait for Saturday Arvo footy at the G.

If our defence shuts down their forwards we win this comfortably, if we can't I think it will be close.

But I think we will and I think we will win by 45 pts.

Let's just pray we win as this is a huge match for our flag chances. If we lose our flag chances are almost gone.

CMON PIES!!! SHOW NO MERCY AGAINST THE WEEGIRLS.

Strictly speaking, I think that God used the flood and Noah used the ark in response.

Relax everyone. We will shit it in.

Why am I so confident? Because we have a better midfield, better defence and far better forward set up. The only real advantage they have is in the ruck, and last time we played them, when Cox dominated the hit outs, our midfielders had a field day roving to him!

The game is also being played on our 'home' ground, which is a considerable advantage.

Naturally, it's disappointing to lose Reid, but we are good enough to cover his omission. Also, there is a high injury cloud over Kerr, and he might not even play.

Once we get over this hurdle, we will return in 2 weeks time with Reid and Daisy back in the side to unleash shock and awe to whoever we play. All in all, I'm actually far more confident about this year than I was last year.

Would love to know what MM is thinking!
Fasolo: Conditions may suit a skillful tough kid - Leroy to be a defensive option - Leaving Jolly to ruck the majority of the game.
Wood: Leroy to take up key defensive role against the Q and Wood/Jolly to share ruck/forward rotations in what may be heavy & tiring conditions.
O'Keefe: Pop his September cherry?
