BT just confirmed on 3AW Reid has very very slight strain in the hammy. Scans confirmed that yesterday. If that's the case he should be ok for prelim.

My worry would be if he does serious damage on it in the prelim.

Bad news. Ben's a good player. The Eagles are still very little chance of beating us. Yes, they have tall forwards, but only one is a real goal scoring danger, and we have Taz for him.

There's no second tall forward who will destroy us this finals series, so on that level I don't see Reid being injured a killer blow to our flag chances (Cloke out would be). But, it is a good player out of the team. When Geelong have no significant injuries, it certainly makes our task tougher. This just means to win the flag we have to be significantly better, not just better than the rest.

At this stage, I'm just hoping that Reid will be cherry ripe for our next game. If we can get across the line tomorrow injury-free, it will be a well earned and well-needed week off; the perfect tonic for our 'woes'.

play wood and give our most important backman a rest cannot risk him if he isn't 100% fit !

leyroy to play down back and wood to help out in the ruck/forward!

Which is it,a slight hamstring strain or a slight groin strain?We keep getting different stories about this.

Buckley or Fasolo to play. We already had one defender too many with Goldsack in, so bringing in another is not a must.

Yep I tend to agree.
Theres a lot of doom and gloom going around on this site.
FFS we finished on the top of the ladder.
Yes we have lost Reid but how great is our depth.
Bring on the West Coast budgies.
