Thanks, Joel.

I've re-joined, but I guess I'll have to wait till next week to see if it's really worked, as my screens look exactly the same...the mystery continues.

Broadie got some good news. You are now on the list and you have your current score of 12. Alf - suggest you rejoin again, hopefully the same will happen for you.

By the way remember to put this weeks tips in:
Nine people have yet to do so: www.footytips.com.au

I tried to rejoin but it wouldn't let me.

But I put my tips in earlier. Maybe I'm in a different competition or something.

I dunno. It's all a bit too hard for simpletons like me. I'll stick to basket-weaving.

By my reckoning I should have 10 wins.

This week I've picked: Richmond (33 points), Essendon, Carlton, Brisbane, Fremantle, Port Adelaide, Geelong, Hawthorn.

I sent another email to them, hopefully they should rectify the situation. If they don't then all I can suggest is to enter under a different name. But wait till after I have received an email from them before going ahead and doing that.

Just thought I should show you my emails with footytips.com.au

This is my email to them:

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR><B>Hi,

Similar prob to yesterday's email.

I have a person who says they were in my tipping comp and apparently have a score of 10 at the moment, the problem is I can't find him in the competition. I was wondering if you could sort out what is going on here.

His email: alfandrews@iprimus.com.au

Ta,
Joel

Manager of NickBB tipping comp.

P.S. I have no reason to not believe him. <HR></BLOCKQUOTE></B>

This was their reply:

Same applies, if he is not in your comp, get him to join it. That simple.
And my reply to that:

Yeah okay! Prob is he did join it and dropped out of it somehow. Thanks for the help, maybe next time I won't have to speak to an asshole like you.
That guy is a wanker!! "That simple"...HA, well if your system wasn't so shit as to drop people out of a competition it would be that simple, FOOL. Who does he think he is? The guy does support for the bloody competition and doesn't help you one bit! You guys may not see anything wrong with his email, but the guys is being a prick..."that simple".

Sorry for going on like this but I expected him/her to actually be helpful.

AlfAndrews all I can tell you to do is to try entering the comp one more time: Comp name is NickBB (www.footytips.com.au)

AND if it doesn't work this time then I suggest signing up under a NEW name. Sorry for all the hassles.

Joel, while I sympathise with your problem I must ask that you be a little more diplomatic in your approach to people while representing a group that carries the name of this site.

I think you'll find that people will be more cooperative if you wait at least 2 seconds before abusing them.

Sorry Mike,
But that was the second email I had received from without help. I have asked nicely a couple of times but they won't give me the help I ask for. Finally it was not deliberate attempt against this site, and I believe no one at footytips.com.au would actually know the site because they are a pack of idiots.

Oh and Mike, you would find that if you asked many of my friends you would find that I am one of the most diplomatic people you will meet. I just can't stand it when you ask nicely for some help and they email me back with a comment like..."that simple".

I'm not really interested in your friends' opinions Joel, but I am interested in what's said in the name of this site.

Just humour me, do me a favour and think twice... and then think again, before typing.

Thanks Joel - though I don't know how grateful I should be about having my true tally restored Image

I would take Mike's advice , even though your comment was valid. You'd think they'd be grateful that you've made them aware of some obvious flaws in their system.
