London Supporters Group need a match reporter

Post by annewilo »

If one of you would like to act as our roving reporter for match days, we would be happy, perhaps some of you may like to attempt your journalist prowess on Anzac Day and get back to us with a ball by ball blow of what we missed, things like....what drinks did the ice cream guys run out of first, how many ppl were locked out with tickets, who was the first to abuse the cheer squad for not cheering loud enough if we lose, which social club member came up with the best and witiest put down of Essendon and if you need to narrow that down, make it from section N bays 14-6.

No seriously, if someone wants to put their hand up as our match reporter, we would be very happy. We need someone who goes every week,(dont worry about interstate games) and some one who can be a bit colourful.

Oh and btw, I havent run this by London Dave or the committee yet, but will do so on the day we all catch up (or if they read it here first)

You've been spending too much time with HAL - you're starting to sound like him.

Let's have a bit of light relief, sing us a song Hal.

Well the Pies didn't deliver their side of the bargain, going down by 66 points, but it didn't dampen the spirits of the Magpie fans at Saturday's BBQ. Thanks Anne for organising another great bash. :P We all had a great (drunken) time. :? What I remember that is. Can't wait for the next one. :D

Mark, I've only just caught up with this. I didn't volunteer to do the match report because I'm also 'overseas'. Anne was thanking me for doing an edit that she asked for.

Ed's match reports have always been the best and you could do a lot worse than use them.
