Pretty skinny for a ruckman and sits behind Jolly, Wood & Witts. WTF :?

Maybe not a ruck but a tall forward?

Why another ruckman?

We went for no defenders at all.

I understand that Gault is the 'Leigh Brown replacement' we crave...

Paine cant get in the Test team and is trying his hand at AFL....

He will be battling out with McCaffer for the third forward role...

Two excellent gets; now to get Medders in the pre-season draft..
Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away...

May be they think he'll be a long term Leroy replacement but with Jolly, Wood, Keeffe, Ceglar, Witts all ahead of him he'll certainly have some time to develop.

IMO we don't need tall defenders.

Tarrant, Reid, Brown, Keeffe, Hartley are all genuine KP defenders. Keeffe and Hartley still developing.

Last 2 years we lost Anthony and L.Brown, at least now we have some developing KP forwards.

If Gault is the Leroy replacement we're gonna need to force feed him for a while.

We have on the list already 5 blokes 204cm plus, and Jolly at 200cm.

He's going to be pushing excrement up a vertical incline to get a gig in the ruck in the next few years.

I like the fact that we have recruited a young player that has played at senior level for a year....IMHO this prepares them better physically for AFL footy...

I watched this kid a bit through the year in the WAFL.....in no way have we made a bad choice here....can go forward, play in the ruck and is great off half back as well....

Cheers
