Bucks?

Post by Black_White »

Can anyone tell me why or Captain seems to have had 2 bad games in a row? He seems to have lost a bit of his run and anticipation for the ball.
Spock, can your source tell us if he is carrying any injury?

He played fine today, did what he had to do.
Just been tagged well and probably had two players on him.

Bucks still had a very good game. How many passes to Tarrant from him lead to goals? I think that he's playing more of a team role than just being a one-man band like in previous years. It looks like MM has him playing smarter footy, looking for the best options instead of blzing away.

I though Buck's played fine. He was in and under in alot of things - something he has been criticised for in the past. He ran hard and did what he needed. Great to see him show some toughness against Essendon - i.e. when he had his face in the Essendon bloke's face and then when he pushed over Johnson(I think).

Also, did anyone else notice that Buckley listed this site as his favourite web site in this week's footy record?

bucks played alright i thought.
i think mick coached really well yesterday, it was obvious that if we kicked long it nearly always got turned over. so they waited for someone to get free b4 they kicked it, and they hardly ever had shots from outside 50. mick had good tactics and they almost paid off.

CQ, you don't think Mick erred in leaving Josh in the Ruck too long? I thought so. If he had put Anthony in earlier then at least we would have had a physical presence there. Poor Josh was been bumped out easily at this stage and was stuffed. Our rovers still had faithin him though and kept trying to recieve taps that did not come.
When Anthony started at least our midfield decided to start sharking the Essenscum taps.

no i dont think he did, mick shouldnt take him out just cos hes getting a few bumps. he needs to get the experience and learn what to do when he is getting beaten in the ruck, we aren't a premiership side yet so mick may as well give him all the experience he can get so when we do get to that premiership side he is a top ruckman.
