Is this another example of Rocketronnies exercise in reverse bigotry?

I'd like to bag Sydney too, but fear the backlash...

LOL.

I hate Sydney. Been there a number of times, just really don't like the place. Most sensible people I know who've lived there, left.

I know a few people who live there and most of them are reasonably sane, but I think they're in the minority up there.

Tip of a city, chock full of grade A twats.

I lived in Sydney in the 80s. Loved sitting on a crowded bus having a conversation on the lines of
Me: footy season starts next week
Best friend: oh you mean real footy - AFL?
Every head on the bus would swivel round to stare at the upstarts

Riding from night shift is tough. Tired as hell but you sort of wake up as you go. Finished much later than I would have preferred last night - with Swanstaon Street being renovated & out of order for cyclists we are forced to use Elizabeth street. Wow that wakes you.

Because I left much later & I don't usually need to ride in peak hour it was an amazing experience. Going down Elizabeth steeet to Flinders street - needing to avoid the left lane because of the hook turns means you ride in the right lane more or less & there are vast numbers of cyclists & cars. Some think it's a cycling sprint to get to the next red light, motor bikes (those little moped jobs) using the bike lanes when there is one, motion everwhere.

Mein Got.

Finally get to St Kilda road & head home - much better.

My job is not physical. I assess people's mental state & risk (whether they are going to kill themselves or others, or deteriorate, whether they need to be made involuntary or not, where to get the best service, what type of treatment might be needed, making sure people with a mental illness get a fair go from general medical & nursing staff) etc.

When I'm fit & get a decent run with traffic lights it was 35-40 min. When I'm less fit & now with Elizabeth street, 45-50 min.
