I love his attitude, the kid was smashed by Hunt last year and he has turned it all around.

Keep on improving the way he has over the last 18 months and the Faz can blow smoke all he likes. What goes on in a footballers head is reflected by his attitude on the field. A positive attitude and self belief is a good starting point for a successful career.

I can't really understand why some people want to get rid of him.
Sure he's a bit of a cocky little bugger, but it's a bit harmless and you don't get any "massive big head wank3r" stories coming out like some others have in the past.

On the field - the guy was injured for the whole of last year and has had complications with that same injury this year.
He's been learning a new position, and understandably has made some errors, but he's played some good games in that role down back too.

But he's a natural forward with something you can't teach or train for; he has nous, he knows where the goals are.
As much as you need role players in the modern game, they're there to allow blokes with talent to do what they do.

Have to admire you, KM, you have a powerful soft spot for the honest, battlers who aren't quite up to AFL standard. Who is next on your list, Marty Clarke?

Fasolo is as much of an honest battler that's not quite up to the AFL standard as Sidey is inconsistent, underpeforming and easily replaceable player.

Lol.
Honest battler is one thing Fasolo is most certainly not.
A talented player that can finish he is.

Funny (no not really) way to SUPPORT your team and players.

Recruitment/Coach wannabees and their endless self-important misguided mumblings will be the death of me.

So we didn't trade Heath Shaw last season or Chris Dawes the year before?

Strange how the coach doesn't have a problem with off loading premiership players if it thinks it's in the best interest of the club going forward.

So I take you don't feel he's supporting the team?

This a discussion board, where people are free to raise tough questions and explore possibilities the club may choose to take at seasons end.

Whether it be Fasolo or someone else of relative quality you've got to give something to get something of value in return.

The coach seems to understand this, do some of you?

Ambiguous posts that can be construed either way won't be the death of me but they certainly make me shake my head and thats way too much more physical activity that I've ever signed up for.

He is way better than a battler for sure.
I'm one who cringes when he stuffs around with the ball instead of just clearing the defensive 50.
Having said that I thought he never should have been moved.
Fasalo with Elliott are far better forward options than Blair so for the life of me can't understand why we wanted to play him back.
I think it was more to do with finding a spot for Blair who couldn't make it in our mid field at the beginning of the season.
Better option would have been to put Blair in the seconds and play Fasalo and Elliott forward.

Ummm...... This thread about Fasolo is completely positive as stated in the OP - "I can't really understand why some people want to get rid of him."

What are you on about????

This still is a footy forum isn't it??
Where you come to discuss players, tactics, games won, games lost, etc; right??

Yup

Team fas here, since he came back from injury a lot of the show point shot and laziness has gone. Loving his unselfishness now, so obvious that when he had the ball in the 50 Friday night, me and junior were both screaming "selfish, be selfish"!
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!
