No point focussing on which side is telling the truth really, as both are playing 100% to the script. One side hears a rumour and reports it as fact, the other goes straight to their contingency plan of saying it's all lies. It would be nice if the football world was less cliche.

The Ox sounded about as positive as a man can sound, put his cred on the line and I believe him. Cloke will announce tonight he has resigned, just got a good feeling, no inside sources though. He can't come on to the footy show again so soon after the last time and deflect the contract questions again, it's just not something a normal person would do.
