Committee meeting

To all those on the committee of the London Supporters Club

I am sending out an email but this is just to alert you all in advance. I think we all feel the need to get together in a meeting forum to discuss what we want to do about lots of suggestions floating around about teams in London etc and events. I have also been contacted now by Trevor Wright from the BARFL and discussed informally what we may like to do. Word is, they tried to start up the Thames Magpies earlier this year but couldnt quite get it happening. He and the BARFL are keen to talk to us, so we need to get a strategy happening now.

I think if we can get together say at the Roebuck, have a meal there and sit down at the round table and get some firm plans in place re the group and start positive action. I also want to speak to Collingwood about their ideas on support but we really need a business plan to take to them, and tell them what we think we need.

Can all committee members please say what Friday nights they are available over the next four weeks in June and let Merissa know, so we can get this set - merissajade@hotmail.com

I also would like to "democratically" suggest that Roger becomes our Sponsorship Manager (of course we can all work at this but he is in the media, so this will help) I and I am sure alot of you have good contacts, that we can draw on. So unless anyone else has objections, can we make this appointment firm. Roger has been keen and attended the last 3 functions and is willing to contribute (that gets my vote!!)

Dear All

So far Merissa has received replies from Annabelle, Mark and Simon with dates re the committee meeting. At the moment the best date for everyone is Friday the 27th June. But will await till we have the final replies back in.
