Might want to kick a bag of 7 some time soon...
And by 7 i mean 7 goals.... not 1 goal, 3 behinds, 2 out on the fulls and 1 not made the distance.

What's that? Clokes finally taking money from the over funded wealthy private schools & putting it back into public education where it belongs?the ru is on fire wrote:today my waters are saying Cloke is goneski - just a feeling...

whether he stays or goes, I think it was pretty clear in the win over the Cats that he is on the outer with the players and is looking disillusioned / uncomfortable with the situation.
After watching the replay, hardly any other player spoke to him the whole night. after he kicked the goal and after the game, he looked like he had a disease, players were so keen to steer clear.
Even if he does sign, the players are smart enough to know that it will prob be at the expense of one of their mates now, and that he disrespected them and the club with his Footy Show interview.

not good.

Your memory fails you then. Eagles about a month ago, kicked 5 and we won by 2 points.<3didak wrote:can't believe its round 17 and this sht is still going. Get him to sign or stop playing couldn't care less at the moment, not like he has one us a game for as long as I can remember. Id be pretty annoyed if we paid him anything 700k + and he dishes his last 10 weeks of performances up every week for 4-5 years. What waste of money
We must keep Cloke! And without knowing what he is actually saying or doing atm, suggest we give him a break! People abusing him at the footy, not on.

I fear you're onto something. You're probably right about the fact that there is disillusion amongst Cloke and his team-mates but I didn't really notice it to be honest.cityslick1 wrote:whether he stays or goes, I think it was pretty clear in the win over the Cats that he is on the outer with the players and is looking disillusioned / uncomfortable with the situation.

Cloke better think this through.
If he doesn't re-sign, he'll be seen as a traitor amongst Collingwood and the majority of the AFL world.
If he does sign, it has to be at a realistic price and something that can afford others like Reid to stay at the club. If Cloke did re-sign but for a big money offer, I wonder how the other players would feel about it, as it would most likely mean that someone like Reid or Goldsack might be squeezed out due to the salary cap restrictions that are imposed on the club.

didnt Ablett cop the same shit as cloke is now copping. no-one seems to give him a hard time now. Part of the blame has to rest with collingwood. Why are we doing this inside the footy season????Jezza wrote:I fear you're onto something. I attended a Women In Black coaches night last night at the G. One gent asked about the Cloak deal during question time and any discussion was shut down with the MC stating that there was enough speculation in the media.
IMO if Cloke chooses to leave to get better money in Freo, then off he goes. He simply is not worth the money or the risk of a $5m over 5 year contract. (he's dreaming) If Freo are prepared to pay above the odds for him - their loss.
