I don't care about the loss. We can't win every game and I think that we can learn from today's game, and hopefully not make the same mistake come finals time. I also hope that Hawthorn have show their hand while we have kept something up our sleeve.I still think that we can win the big one.

What I can't stand is that camp Cloke think the spud is worth $1 million. He is not even worth 700k. Just overated by us pies fans as usual. On a personal level I regard loyalty as one of the most important traits a person can have and Cloke having none irks me. His greed is destabilising the club at the moment. We have survived before him and we will do so after him. So I think that he and his dad can f$&k off. In the long run we will be better off without them.

Even they have wised up.
About time for them.

I do not think Travis is worth any more than 700k per season for the next 4 seasons, and on his current form is , as the coach has alluded to , doing damage to his "brand".

Move him to the half back line for the next 2 games to get some touch.

Also, give Daddy a deadline of rd 20.

If no signature is forthcoming, sadly i advocate dropping him from the team till he either signs or he goes.

make a stand and send a message to all that we will not be held to ransom.

I've always thought loyalty was a two way street but what the hell would I know?

one way ticket only needed for cloke next week, leave him there.

he is playing like a sook to be honest, like he is angry at the club for not agreeing to his unrealistic demand.

with his kicking for goal the way it has always been, he is only worth 500k for 3 years.

Cloke watch?

It was pretty hard today, but the service he got was disgraceful.
That was due mostly to the incredible pressure Hawthorns mids applied around the contested ball.

This was a good blueprint for the coaching staff to make some huge improvements from.

The loss today had nothing to do with Travis Cloke

I take it we lost today?

Anyway looking at the stats, all 3 key forwards kicked 1 goal from about 10 possessions, too me that says the midfield was shit, got smashed and gave them nothing, but of course the midfield is made up of favourite players, no one ever bags any of them, so the blame goes to 1 player, typical

Anyway seeing Jolly kicked a couple, time to try Jolly as FF, Cloke CHF, Goldsack in the pocket and send the other key forwards back to the VFL

I remember the days when we had Peter McKenna at full forward. If he kicked less than five he had a bad day. Not kidding. Look how many times he kicked 100+ in a season, including 146 only to be second to Hudson with 150.

Yes, delivery to the forwards was terrible today. But when this happens I expect, no, I demand, that the premier forward at the club (who is demanding $1m a year for 5 years) works his butt off and present up the ground and demand the footy. This was noticeably absent today. And it seems these protracted contract negotiation have backfired on TEAM CLOKE, with his value seriously diminishing over the last month and a bit and the crowd is also starting to turn against him.
Very little (if any) support for him toady in our section of the Ponsford. I'd hate to loose a Beams,Siddbottom, etc. for this sook.

^Sidebottom has re-signed and Beams is about to, so neither of those will be lost because of Cloke.

That midfield kicked 9 of our 13 goals Einstein. Perhaps we should play them all forward seeing the guys up there did bugger all.

4 - Beams
2 - Swan
2 - Jolly
1 - Sidebottom
