i'm more than happy to see the back of him after all of this.
my only issue is that without him (at his best / near his best), we're not a very scary team to come up against - and dawes sure as shit isn't up to playing his role with the same output.
i really hope we're chasing a ready-made replacement, because paine is a good few years off being serviceable at afl level.
i wonder how loyal drew petrie is to the roos...???

We will not only survive, we will prosper without him, Fu@k off Trav you mercenary with your father Damir, you couldn`t give a sh!t about this great Club, like i said a couple of months ago, the apple does not fall far from the tree, your Daddy Damir did the same thing to Richmond in the 80`s in the chase of filthy lucre, you have no loyalty,no camaraderie with your team mates,no love for this great club, and above all, NO CLASSJoel wrote:Certainly doesn't look good. We'll survive in spite of him if he goes.

At least the discussions will be over during the season. I'm pretty confident he won't be playing for the club next year. What a pity to be honest. Travis had an opportunity to repay the club and show loyalty to the club that has made him into a solid footballer.
The club will survive without him. I'd be expecting the club to have a look at potential replacements after he most likely departs.

Not really. Apart from the negotiation freeze, which is a sensible move, there are no new facts - just new unsubstantiated rumours. Those that want to beleive them for whatever reason will do so, those that don't, won't, and the vast majority just want it to go away so they can focus on the upcoming season.Beast wrote:^ back-pedalling at the rate of knots.
