Eade on AFL insiders basically gave no comment. Said it is all in the press release. Sounds like the Club has decided not to say anything so no more talk re Cloke.
Smells to me like the club is trying to kill all speculation to take the talk off the agenda and relieve Trav of pressure.
Would not surprise if the stance by the club causes the deal to be done sooner rather than later.
Here's hoping anyway.

I thought Eade was signedAN_Inkling wrote:Gone or not, we'll know at the end of the year. Nothing to get too excited over in the meantime.
Rodney Eade said he wants to sign!

I don't think he will stay now. Never thought he would leave before but I do now that the club has stopped negotiations until years end. Rocket on AFL 360 said "read into it what you will" rather than everything will get done in the long run. Beams & Reid signing recently & if we hear Wellingham, Harry & Goldy pen new deals in the next couple of weeks then I think it's fair to say the chances of him staying are less likely all the time.
Having said that if he signs with us at years end, I will unreservedly apologise for doubting him
