No MagpieBoy, we are not the "real Magpies" - we are the only Magpies.
Don't ever feel that you have to justify our name to anybody.
Port Power is Port Power. The Port Adelaide Magpies play in another competition entirely and are not of interest.
We are The Real "MAGPIES"...

They had a few different nicknames from time to time. They were known as the "Portonians" and also the "Cockle divers" and a few other names that elude me now. Even their colours were not always black and white. They were blue and white at one stage ... and later on they were magenta and blue ... (magenta is a kind of pinkish colour, I think)
Collingwood has been black and white right from the start (1892). But the club we were formed from (Brittania) used to be red, white and blue. We had to change because Footscray had the colours first. Thank Christ for that. I reckon red, white and blue are absolutely disgusting as a colour combination.
