And just for old time's sake...
Predictable result....were never in it....
Season over and still four games to go,
Kernahan is a walking memorabilia piece, not a president.
On today : the importance of development, so many players who you wouldn't even take in the PSD yet good contributors for the swannz.
White starting forward, great idea ....not.
Worst umpiring ever
One thing the swans have got is leadership that is what we really have to get at this club.
It's an often overused term in footy these days, but the Swans have a well known and admired culture about the way they go about the game.

Right now, we don't.
Until we change the culture and expectations of our club we won't be challenging top 4 anywhere in the near future.
Ah. So, the brown paper bags, the tanking and the cheating and the 3rd party deals will be out of bounds from now on, then?
That rocket ship firing players deep into space.. should be piloted and co piloted by Sticks and Ratten.

You cant have playmakers focussing on shut down roles..and think youre gong to win

Yes, i think Carrazzo is in raptures about Ratten being coach .... his face told the story
Surely Curnow will never play for CFC again.
I have no faith in Ratts and he,s staff 5 years of coaching and we are back to where we started no forward stucture no real game plan some player have gone backwards. Lack of development or poor drafting time for some changes imo.
It was the same old story... Same old culprits making the same old bad decisions and skill errors. We had no system coming out of defence, and no system going into the forward line.

We were shown up to be the 2nd rate team we are by a Premiership contender in Sydney, who really, were just toying with us all day.
Gibbs= Soft Serve
Not really much poison to be found over there, just resignation.

But gee, it's great to see them lose!

Brilliant reading MagpieBat. I love seeing the resignation of there arrogant supporters. It's fantastic.

What happened to winning a flag after round 3 again?

After Round 3, they were not talking about winning this years flag. The real discussion was who was going to stop them going back to back in 2013:)

I must take this opportunity to issue an apology to the Carlton Football Club.

No, do not get your eyes or your reading glasses checked.

Carlton, I am SORRY.

Sorry that I missed our 10th anniversary, which was six days ago on the 2nd of August.

Why the 2nd of August?

Because, it was 10 years to the day since we did THIS to you:

COLLINGWOOD - 21.15.141
CARLTON - 4.9.33

I didn't know what to get you as an anniversary present, so I had to settle for this:

Image

Happy (belated) anniversary, Carlton FC, you bunch of f-cking flogs!

Relive our happy night together:

Sigh... memories.

Thanks for that great reminder MagpieBat. I can't believe it's been 10 years since that happened. It was the first official night where Joffa also became famous with the Gold Jacket and the giant wooden spoon.

A glorious night for Collingwood supporters. It was revenge for 2 years earlier when they belted us by 111 points at Princes Park in 2000.

That was also Buckley's 200th game as well.

^ Corey McKernan's 200th game as well.

Have to feel sorry for him: a Collingwood supporter as a kid, playing a milestone game against his boyhood team and getting smashed in a team of losers.

Actually, McKernan had a pretty good year in 2002, his first at the Scum. Pity we didn't get him when he became available. Did we even make a play for him? McKernan for us means we don't have to throw Fraser in against Keating in the granny...

Anyways, great memories. Carlton buried, their 2002 a write-off. They finish last, then get busted for salary cap cheating. :D

And Joffa with the giant wooden spoon - classic! Bring it back!

As I recall, McKernan kicked the goal which got the margin back to 108 points. Personally, I will never forgive him for that.

I know it was a terrible night, but at least all us fans were cheered up by the loss of the Scum against the Suns tonight.

Can't wait to see how TankingCarlton is going now :P
