I am just taking a poll
Can 1990 repeat itself in the next couple of years?
And yes I do take it 1 week at a time all I am doing is looking forward.

Sorry to be a pedant, Tim, but 1990 will never be repeated. When we win our next premiership it will be some year other than 1990, whether it be this year, next year or whenever.

There'll be no James Manson, no Gavin Crosisca, no Craig Kelly.

But there possibly might be a Josh Fraser, a Nathan Buckley, an Allan Didak and/or a Ryan Lonie.

It will be a whole new experience.

1990 was so special because it was the end of the great 32-year famine.

Our next one will be special because it will be the culmination of a steady period of rebuilding after hitting rock bottom at the end of the 1990s. There may be some similarities with the past. But really, the depths that The Club has reached in recent years are far, far worse than anything we experienced in the Colliwobbles era. And so our next premiership will be far more glorious than 1990, simply because we will have come from a much deeper level of despair.
