Agreed, it's bloody annoying when people drop off. Ruins the league.5150 wrote:Well played.woftam wrote:My first premiership
Still annoyed that some dont stick it out. Maybe a $20 entry fee / winner take all might be the way to weed out the tyre kickers.
Two years in a row the same thing has happened. For starters Matty could write down the names of the players who stuck it out all season & invite them again next season. Put the one's who didn't on the (no friggin way list)
Thanks for the game to everyone who stuck it out. It was fun.
Thanks particularly to Matty.

Congrats to Woftam, and yes, thanks to everyone who did hang around for the whole year.
I had a shocker, from drafting Murphy and Goodes, to just about every pick up I had falling in some type of hole, to losing so many games by small margins, it was just a terrible year for The Machine.
I think this years league was a bit better for players staying at it for most of the year, I count about 12 or 13 of the teams who were still actively trading and picking up free agents leading into the final weeks.
Maybe a limit of 16 on the teams next year might be a smart thing, 18 seems to stretch it too far.

Yeah, I even took a few risks and traded some big names, even that didn't come off, but oh well, I'll learn from my mistakes and return stronger next year.Fire Up wrote:^^^ thanks for goodes. came in handy in a few games
I think that's the great thing about UF compared to other AFL fantasy games though, you actually have to think within your own league before you make any trades or free agent buys.

we pay a $150 entry fee for our league. that sorts it out.woftam wrote:Agreed, it's bloody annoying when people drop off. Ruins the league.5150 wrote:Well played.woftam wrote:My first premiership
