Or this which Mick Malthouse said at the coaching press conf yesterday
1990 Grand Final :
"From the back pocket, this will be probably the last kick, he need not even kick it, the drought is over. 32 years they've waited, let the celebrations begin" Sandy Roberts

Just watched a recording of the club last night. The photo of JMac and Dawsey walking off the ground after their debuts in 08 showed how young these guys are when they walk into the football club.
I feel for his parents. The anguish that they must be experiencing could not be described.
RIP

Someone of sound mind would have known the dangers of doing something like that.colin_wood wrote:yeah its a pretty crazy thing to do....the palm trees he would have tried to make a jump for are like 20-30M high & were 2-3M away from the building. Wonder what his blood alcohol was to make such a bad decision ?
The situation is such a tragedy and could have easily been avoided. It's so sad for his family who will now have to live with this for the rest of their lives.

Very sad RIP Jmac.
Do we actually know what went on. I ask simply through not knowing. Was it alcohol, drugs, both or none of the above that caused JMac to have experienced that error of judgment when he jumped so tragically to the palm tree?
