Well Elvira its been a while since we have spoken. I believe StKildas defence is pathetic at the best of times. They lack tall backman. If its a dry day i believe we can exploit this weekness............I cant even see them having an opponent for Molloy ?? Tarrant will run Gehrig ragged. Rogan Josh and Pebbles will be able to stroll down and kick a few goals each. Afterall Everitt wil be chasing some easy possessions and worried about his tattoos.

Our midfields are fairly even and we should at least break even. Our foot speed could be a big advantage for us. Big Carl will tag Harvey and how he does in this role will also have a big say in the outcome.

At the end of the day good sides beat crap like StKilda. Lets face facts StKilda are crap. An interesting question when was the last time StKilda won at the M.C.G. ???

You stole my thunder JLC. I came on the board tonight to state how I also thought that St Kildas lack of key defenders will cause them great concern against us. I believe that Gehrig will match up on Tarrant and we will just have to wait to see if Gehrig plays one of his good games. Luckily, these only seem to appear once every six weeks. I think his last good game was against Kouta, so unfortunely he is probably due.

I think that even if Gehrig manages to keep Tarrant quiet, Molloy, Rocca and Rogan will have a huge opportunity to play big games and kick goals. Honestly, Who are they going to play on them. Maybe the Saints offloaded the Wakelins a season to early!!!

I think this saturday's game will be a good test of how the club is travelling. Typically we struggle against teams that we should really beat, the Fremantle game last year and just recently the Kangaroos. If we are to make the finals this year then we need to punish teams who are out of form.

The Saints don't worry me.

All the weaknesses we used to have are pretty much covered in 2001. Mobile, fast, Ruckmen, potent forwards, goal-kicking midfielders (ain't Loni a surprise packet?), brilliant backmen. They can cover one of our players on the day and we have another that puts in a good one. Every week someone else shows us they can be a star. One day they will all put it together and then...

And our depth is the best for years. There's a couple of them who haven't quite worked it out yet, but they can play! They are ELITE players at an ELITE club. If they want finals and the buzz of being legends, they'll never have a better chance than with the Magpies of the New Millenium.
