Read in Eddie's column in Saturday's Herald Comic Eddie proposing that the Teams who've kept their traditional guernseys (Collingwood, Essendon & Richmond) throughout their history should be allowed to maintain them while the other Teams provide an alternate strip to avoid kit-clashes when required. Somebody here (the closer, I think) mentioned something similar the other day.
My question is: shouldn't Richmond have an alternate strip anyway to let their supporters know when to get on and off the bandwagon?
They can have the traiditional guernsey when they're floundering along like they are now and inverse it (for that bizarre effect) when they're flying along, like they did for the first six Rounds (which was equally bizarre).
