Hi all,

I just noticed a new and really annoying "feature" has crept into Nicks - a both that changes the word "C_arlton" into mindless abuse. This is not funny. This is unfair to posters, and a very low-brow trick. Please find out who brought it in and tell them to put it back the way it was.

(PS: I don't object to mindless abuse. Indeed, I have been known to revel in it, and (so far as I know)it was me that invented the now-common term "St Vomit" - but that is a term that every individual poster is free to use or not use as he or she sees fit. Putting mindless abuse words into poster's mouths is unfair, particularly insofar as Nick's is a public forum, visible to Google.)

Remove the censorship on words like shit and **** while you are at it. I promise you they will be used less when you take the stigma away from them.

I despise Carlscum, but I agree Tannin, each to their own.
